Hayward Hydrostatic Relief Valve SP1056, 1-1/2 Inch & 2 Inch, White

The Hayward ABS Hydrostatic Relief Valve is for a 1-1/2 inch internal NPT or 2 inch NPT sump. This relief valve is made of corrosion-resistant ABS plastic, is spring loaded and has a leakproof self-cleaning o-ring seal. It helps prevent pool damage due to external hydrostatic pressure beneath the pool shell when the pool is drained. At least one hydrostatic relief valve in a set of suction outlets will allow hydrostatic uplift pressure caused by groundwater to be relieved into the pool or spa.

Replacing your hydrostatic relief valve after you drain your pool is highly recommended.
