SlideRenu SlideWax Water Slide Wax, Gallon SR66128
SlideWax™ is a nanotechnology copolymer wax that has been formulated to bond to fiberglass to protect water slides from the damaging effects of UV rays, harsh weather conditions and environmental contaminants that can fade or discolor water slide surfaces prematurely. SlideWax™ rehydrates surfaces to bring back the deep reflective luster and “LIKE NEW SHINE” to dull looking water slides. The “ULTRA SLICK FINISH” reduces slow spots on the interior riding surface and the deep penetrating wax magnifies the gloss on exterior surfaces to deliver the highest level of protection from the elements unlike any other wax. Significantly outperforms carnauba, car and marine waxes. Depending on rider usage, geographic location and weather conditions, one application typically lasts up to 3 months. One gallon will wax the interior surface of a standard 200 linear foot open flume body slide, roughly 2,000 sq. ft.
RECOMMENDED USES: SlideWax™ is recommended to be used on interior riding surfaces and may be used on the water slide exteriors to protect and enhance appearance. SlideWax™ is a maintenance item which can be used anytime the slide is looking dull, in need of surface protection or to reduce static charge and friction on the ride path.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Shake well before use. For SlideWax™ to be effective, the product must be applied to a clean and adequately prepped surface. Any dirt, grease, body-grime, bird droppings, wax and other surface contaminants should be removed first with SlideRenu® SlideDetergent™ (Refer to Product Data Sheet for Application Instructions). After the surface is washed, it should be rinsed with tap water through a pressure washer. To remove calcium build-up and hard water mineral deposits, use SlideRenu® Calcitrol® (Refer to Product Data Sheet for application Instructions). Rinse the surface with water after using Calcitrol® and let dry before applying SlideWax™. Shake well before use and apply a small amount of SlideWax™ using a foam f inishing pad attached to a variable speed buffer or a clean white cloth. Set RPM at 1000–1500 for fine finishing and work wax in a swirling motion in 2’ x 2’ ft. sections. Refer to the SlideWax™ label for the proper amount to use, agitation method and work time. Remove SlideWax™ after a white haze has formed (2-3 minutes) using a clean foam finishing pad at 1500–2000 RPM. Sweep wax residue to the exit piece of the slide and collect residue in a garbage can, bag or wet/dry vacuum cleaner. When layering SlideWax™, wait 30 minutes before applying the next application. Due to abrasion from riders and constant water flow in the ride path, two applications of SlideWax™ are recommended.
